The purpose of student council at Madison Middle School:
· Develop and promote student responsibility in the school and community
· Develop and promote student activity in the school organization
· Develop cooperation among members of the student body
We elect homeroom representatives for each homeroom class in August/September.
Student Council homeroom representatives (1st block) must maintain at least a 70 average in each class block throughout the school year. Grades will be checked periodically throughout the year.
Student Council officers are elected (in April) by the student body and must maintain at least an 80 average throughout the school year. Grades will be checked periodically throughout the year.
Student Council officers and representatives must also attend all meetings. If you miss 3 meetings you will be removed from the Student Council.
