Advanced Art

We are very excited about the upcoming year in Advanced Art. We are well underway with the basic of paintings but will soon dive into Scholastic Art competition and then onto our wall mural. We love doing field trips and will let you know as soon as possible when we have those nailed down. We also give students the opportunity to travel in the summer with us. 

 

 Catie Stoltzfus

Born and raised in Jackson, MS. Catie Stoltzfus studied at both Mississippi State and University of Southern Miss where she received her bachelor's in Interior Design and a minor in Art. For a few years after college, she owned Paint It My Way in Jackson where she realized her true calling was teaching art not just providing a great venue for it. she went back to school, aka Belhaven, and received her Master's in Teaching. Since then she has held various positions in the Art Education field and is very excited to be at Madison Middle teaching art to all these wonderful students!
